For gentle rectal treatment of hemorrhoids without pharmaceuticals
HEMOMAG is a remedy for hemorrhoids. It acts as a gentle stimulator of the rectum (anal area) over a longer period of time. Two devices that have to be used alternatingly are included in the delivery. They are marked with different colours to facilitate distinction. The HEMOMAG consists of a magnetic stimulator that is enclosed in a hard plastic housing. The active region of the device goes from the tip of the device to the limiter. The intensity of the magnetic induction of the HEMOMAG varies from 30 to 40 mT. This value is within a range that is inoffensive and suited for human stimulation. The fitness for use of the HEMOMAG is not limited in time. However, the HEMOMAG should not be used if it is damaged (fissures, scratches).
The HEMOMAG regulates the blood stream of the venous system of the rectum; the analgetic effect in the rectal region continues after use.
Area of application
Acute hemorrhoids; uncontrollable weeping in the rectum area; itching in the rectum area.
Clean the magnetic stimulators with water and soap or medical alcohol pads before each use. The active region must be covered with Vaseline up to the limiter. After that the HEMOMAG is ready for use. It must be inserted carefully. In a case of a difficult anal insertion the HEMOMAG has to be inserted gradually, i. e. in intervals in order to avoid a damage to the mucosa. For the insertion of the HEMOMAG lie down in lateral position. The time of application should be of 30 to 45 minutes. It is irrelevant with which of the two devices you start the treatment, however, they have to be used alternatingly from day to day. The treatment should be performed for 10 consecutive days. If necessary, the appliance can be repeated as per the same procedure after pausing for 10 days.
We recommend to not use the HEMOMAG on patients that suffer from acute or chronic heart diseases such as patients with a pacemaker or during pregnancy.
The magnetic treatment may cause temporary low blood pressure as well as temporary diarrhea.
Instruments or devices that are sensitive to the effects of magnetic fields (watches, data processing units, magnetic tapes, disks, pacemakers) have to be kept at a distance of at least ten centimeters from the HEMOMAG.
